I'll admit, the only thing that makes my ears perk up when it comes to talk of Blizzard has to do with Diablo III, but I know there's many a World of Warcraft fan hanging on their every word. It was recently reported that Blizzard filed three new trademark, each bearing the word "Cataclysm". While at first fans speculated that this might be the title of one of the new unannounced projects, it seems now more people think this could be a new WoW expansion. Either way, we hope to hear more about it at this year's Blizzcon. You can ogle the trademarks in the gallery and form your own predictions. Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

 

Looks like Amazon is having an amazing deal on the 360 version of Lego Indiana Jones. For a limited time they are offering $31 OFF of Indy for the Xbox 360 (and savings on the other console versions can be had too). We have enjoyed our time with all the licensed Lego games to date and Indy is no different so this is a steal at the $19 price point! Heck even some of the “Associates” have it listed for UNDER $8 NEW! So either way you can save a lot of money (and can save even more by not buying the terrible Wii Indiana Jones that just released and going Lego!

A collector’s edition for the upcoming pc game AION has been announced. Aion looks to be a really nice looking MMO that allows some great PvP and PvE combat along with somering depth in character customization. Pre-ordering the game (either version) will net some nice in-game goodies and if you like collector’s stuff… then the CE edition would be the way to go. Prince of Persia for $20

 

Prince of Persia for XBOX 360 & PS3 is currently available (while supplies last) from Amazon (and their associates) for $19.98. If you liked the other Prince of Persia games, then you are sure to enjoy this one. Visually the game is breathtaking and something Pixar would do (or Disney back in the day). The game is very open and allows you to tackle any of the areas at the start of the game. The platforming and crazy acrobatics have been ramped up and more of a focus on mini-bosses and boss battles rather than constant bad guys popping up. Unfortunately this approach can be hit or miss for some as you will spend some decent time running and jumping before you find something to fight (like some of the Tomb Raider games). So if you are looking for a great adventure game with spread out action, then this new Prince of Persia is it.

Everyone should be able to own a three-bladed boomerang…that is until they cut off all their fingers.

 

Environment:

Alternate future (Soviet inspired). Play as Hayden Tenno.

 

Gameplay:

First-Person Shooter. 8-10 hour single player campaign (no co-op). Multi-player.

 

Graphics:

Most Excellent (based on 2008 standards)

 

Second Helpings:

Multi-player

 

Dark Sector is a Diamond in the Rough (despite the limited replay value) so if you like Gears of War, God of War, Riddick, Fear, or even the recent Resident Evils…then this game is an excellent pick-up (a MUST OWN at the $20 price tag).

 

Rating: 4 Demonslayers  (out of 5)

 

 

*Well it looks like the $1.50 sale on the PS3 version didn’t last long as its up to $6 (still a steal at that price) with the XBOX 360 version holding at $1.50.

A cool idea for a game either way but the new cell shaded look does add a little fun to the overall package.

As I am sure you have ALL been waiting for this moment, Final Fantasy 13 will be coming out soon! It is locked and loaded with plenty of action to keep you in your seat for hours! New adventures, new quests, new moves, new everything. This year Final Fantasy 13 comes with a much better story line then the previous Final Fantasies which I think all of you will enjoy, and take pleasure in very much. I know I am looking forward to playing this when it comes out for a fact.

A very interesting game. You control a character called the inquisitor. It has many abilities, including spells, melee attacks, and spells to buff your self. You battle enemies, pick up armor, do quests/ missions etc. Its a game identical to world of warcraft, but a lot less complex, and is not a multi-player game. It is A game for those who like strategy/ combat games. Unfortunately, it is only for PC.
